It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data.
Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories,
instead of theories to suit facts.

My Gallery
:iconcinemania:
hey
cool gallery !!!
:iconhyperphagia:
i've never really agreed with the process of underpainting, so i just do a light sketch on my surface then dive straight into color application. and i do work very thin, i blend my colors on my palette and on my canvas, but also use separate dry brushes to get rid of any distracting brush strokes and blend further -- creating the smoothness. i think it's beautiful to see really thick strokes of paint on a canvas, but that's just not how i naturally work. thanks for the interest, hope that answered your question. have fun with your paintings!
